Potential for light snow accumulation in the Washington and Baltimore metropolitan areas late this evening and overnight...

Snow showers are possible late this evening into the overnight across the Washington and Baltimore metropolitan areas. Snow may coat the ground in some locations... and with temperatures near freezing this may cause slippery conditions. The best chance for snow will be between 10 PM and 2 am late this evening into the overnight.

Get with the program. Go drive the beltway until you run out of gas and leave your car in one of the center lanes.

Semi, you're slipping.

A dusting to an inch or two of snow is forecast to fall Thursday night into Friday morning around Baltimore as a stretch of frigid weather sets in through early next week.

Meteorologists said they could not rule out possible disruptions to either the evening or morning commutes. The National Weather Service predicts up to an inch along Interstate 95 and to its west, and less than an inch to the east and south.

The storm is expected to be quick-moving, but it could produce two or three inches of snow in some areas, according to the weather service.

No measurable snow in December.

I had to turn of the news this morning because the reporters still referred to this "event" as an impending storm.
