It seems to be standard 24 action/intrigue so far. I'm liking it.

Haven't watched it yet but I wish they would have moved it over to FX where they could have pushed the envelope further.

 

24 can be a great potboiler-on-the-beach show but it's basically become a Dan Brown thriller...same plot structure and twists along the way, only the faces change.

After a while it gets hard to come up with a new twist to 'action hero saves the day from bad guys'. I think this might be the biggest hurdle for 24:Legacy.

I watched the first episode and it seems to have the usual 24 ridiculous factor such as the outgoing CTU director using a stun gun on her replacement in order to keep surveillance going.

 

We'll see how it progresses without Jack "damn it" Bauer.

24 has always been that way. Jack Bauer carrying a half dead guy and a fire axe in a stair well versus two guys with sub machine guns... Jack wins with ease.
