Simple Question :Do You Consider Donald Trump To Be Your President?

114 posts in this topic

I have no commentary, just a straight forward question.

Noting all the many defenders he has around here who DIDN'T vote for him I was just wondering how many here will admit, publicly, to the question asked in this topic.

Oh, and NO, I do not consider Donald Trump to be 'My' President.

I think of him as president of the people who voted for him and those who thought voting for "no one' was such a good idea.

As a US citizen, yes.

That is the correct answer. Just as Mr Obama was my president, and Mr Bush was my president, and Mr Clinton was my president, etc etc etc.

Was Obama everyone's president?

Was Obama 'Any'Trump supporters president?

I understand the sentiment.

I'm still a U.S. citizen.

Uh, yeah. Wasn't Happy about Nixon but he was still my/the President. Just deal with it! Crying like a Baby won't get you anywhere.

Come to think of it, back then there was Never any of this MY President stuff. Even he was still The President. Tells you about the Mindset of people nowadays, it's all Me, Me, Me!

He is, but he doesn't seem to think he is.

He is, but he doesn't seem to think he is.

Interesting statement, he does seem to be campaigning in spite of winning the election.

Of course he's my president, I'm a citizen.

Like him or not, Trump is the only President we've got!

I dislike the President but I don't wish harm upon him. I want to remove him either through impeachment or the 2020 election.

Either may happen. Our system of government assures that a individual cannot become a dictator. I have faith in our systems. Others here seem not to share that faith. Sad.

He's not any person's President. He is President of the United States.

Using personally possessive descriptors is too royal -- definitely not an American sensibility.
