Thank God. How can America be great feeding these old people? Losers. I prefer people who can get out and buy their own food.

Budgets reflect the values of those proposing them. Trump's represents the modern conservative movement very well.

America will be great again by giving more money to Homeland Security and the DoD (aka subsidizing defense contractors).

Yup say goodbye to most everything that is not deemed profitable by Trump.

You will note... ANYTHING that may generate business revenue, such as the manufacture of tanks and ships and high end sluthing computers is not cut but is being designated for increases.

Now if you look behind the curtain. Who does that benefit? VERY GOOD. Yes, big business and the associated Trump cronies.

Watch out, if this continues and congress etc. doesn't develop a set we will no longer be the United States of America but rather the UN-united states of Trump-world.

Ahhhh no....i disagree. Those that are in power have no values. Not the 'we' you are referring to.

Unfortunately, as we suspected before Trump admin and now is being confirmed, 'we' are just peeing in the wind if you think the gooberment really cares about or even listens to our input. They in somecases may pretend to listen in those town halls...but when the rubber hits the road. NOT!

Mark my words .... as I have said...if the other branches don't develop a set real soon to stop the Trump crazy-train. There will be more than feeding the elderly to worry about.

The tell will be when the first state files to leave the union. I predict California. Mainly because they have more money/power/independent functionality than most of the countries in the world.

:D AND as a bonus you have all those rich lefty thinkers out there.

Yes Bannon is getting what he wants....anarchy.

Very true, it's the old guns vs. butter scenario.

Whatever. Until Congress starts passing appropriations bills, none of this matters.

Some of the CEOs of these nonprofits might have to take a cut in pay.

In the meantime, anyone who wants to volunteer or donate can do it.

Which of these is a non-profit?

A proposal of the Trump budget, released Thursday morning, calls for the complete elimination of the Community Development Block Grant program, which operates under the Department of Housing and Urban Development and covers Meals on Wheels.

I volunteer my tax dollars to support this.

The GOP plan for the future is thinning the herd. What's holding us back are these ethnics and poor people. It's called I Don't Care Care.

Funny, the left was vigorously defending Obamacare's pillaging of Medicare.  Now, they'll find every program under the sun that may be in for trimming and wail like stuck pigs over it.

Just think of how much more we can spend on Defense if we starve elderly people to death?

And the right wants to cut every program that may help the non-wealthy, yet are more than happy to throw more money at the DoD despite the billions in waste every year.
