If I should fall from grace with God where no doctor can relieve me, bury me neath the sod where no angels can receive me

Let me go boys, let me go boys

Bury me at sea where no miracles can haunt me, if I rock upon the waves no corpse can lie above me

Coming up threes boys, coming up threes

I saw the danger yet I walked along the enchanted way

I said let grief be a falling leaf at the dawning of the day

I spend my days in endless roving to be home again in Carrickfergus

Gonna take a good sharp axe, shining steel tempered in the fire
And chop you down like an old oak tree
Dirty old town

It's funny, I've had the XM "holiday" channel on all morning and I haven't heard a single Pogues song.
