I'm assuming this is a prediction thread on the Orioles season record and standing so my prediction for them, it should have said in AL east, this auto correct sucks!!

It's open for any MLB predictions

The middle infield is not good.

Add that to the lousy outfield.

Let's see everyone's predictions for the 2017 season

It will be fun to check review this thread in October to see how close or far off some of us were

I'll go first

Division winners:

AL East- Yankees

AL Central- Indians

AL West- Astros

Wildcard- Royals/Red Sox

NL East- Nationals

NL Central- Cardinals

NL West- Dodgers

Wildcard- Cubs/Mets

World Series- Indians vs Cardinals

My predictions aren't looking too bad so far.

The Indians look very much like a team destined to return to the World Series

Darn it. I didn't post a prediction but these are fun to read.

The AL East is tough to predict honestly. One of the harder divisions because it is so close. How about playoff predictions?

Cleveland in 6 games.

Did great on division winners, awful on the wild card.

I'd like to see the MLB make changes to the schedule. It seems the Red Sox-Yankees-Orioles play each other far too many times throughout the season.

I'd like to see less Interleague play too. The novelty of it has worn off

I love interleague personally. I think this is an age think. I have noticed most older people don't like interlegue (not saying everyone).

I would love to see (never going to happen EVER though) the season broken into 2 different seasons so fans don't check out if their team is out of it half way through the season (this is done in lower level minor league leagues).

I used to like Interleague Play but the novelty is wearing off. Even the Yankees vs Mets isn't exciting anymore

NLE - Nationals

NLC - Cubs

NLW - Dodgers

WC - Mets/Cardinals

WS - Indians over Cubs

Way off on wild cards, but in reality, picking the division winners really wasn't super difficult.  Let's just see if Cleveland can pull it off.

The Mariners are an intriguing team. They seem to have the necessary talent, to make the playoffs. But they don't get there.

I agree. I was never happy about the league's decision to switch to an unbalanced schedule. But ESPN wanted those NY-Bos games. The central and west are gravy divisions, year in and year out. The east wasn't much to speak of, this year. But that's usually a much tougher division. Especially since Tor and Bal decided to compete, and not just cry about how impossible it is to keep up with the big spenders.

But I have to admit, I do like that the unbalanced schedule means lee west coast games. When I had cable, and watched all 162 games, those were always a killer for morning guy

I'm pretty indifferent to inter-league play. I suppose the "MASN Cup" is a fun local rivalry thing. But, like Soulflower, the novelty has worn off for me too.

How do YOU spell relief?

Buck Showalter spells it: U-B-A-L-D-O. While Zack Britton rides the pine. Against Toronto. 2016. Memorable. Very memorable.
