I have a 2-in-1 yoga 2 pro laptop that currently has Windows 10 on it. I spilled liquid on the keyboard and it has a crack; I decided it was better just to buy a new one since I have no experience putting new keyboards in laptops, etc. Anyway, it still works pretty good in tablet mode; so I want to clear everything off and make the tablet child-friendly (I want this for my boy and I want to control the apps - what he can watch) and Android seems to be the best way to do it if it is possible IMO - of course.

Could I just format the drive and add the Android operating system? Where would I get it?

Good article and I'm going to have to look at it again. I heard of Bluestacks looking into this a couple years ago and am thinking of using it to run some Slots Apps from SG Interactive on my laptop. They bought up WMS who makes Real casino slots. Jackpot Party & Goldfish in the App Store are free and have a whole load of Real casino slots for my Phone but that's run out of ROM space. I don't care about any other use for it. I'm going to have to look into it again.
