Hyattsville is a welcoming and inclusive community,” said Hyattsville City Council member Shani Warner. “This vote will make us stronger.”

Boarded up businesses, graffiti, trash everywhere, buildings falling down, ect. ect.

I had relatives who used to live in PG County many years ago and it was a nice area then but it has really fallen since then. Its sad to see what it has become.

Hyattsville around DeMatha HS/Rt 1 corridor has actually gone through a nice revival.

The time has come for a centrist political party. Rational Americans are not comfortable with extreme views to the left or to the right, and our current parties have no intentions of ever abandoning their ever increasing distance from sane, reasonable thinking.

We used to do some work around there with the Co I was with years ago. Seemed once you got past College Park down Rt1 things went downhill closer into DC there. I wouldn't stick around there after dark. Calling it a Sanctuary sounds like some kind of Joke to me.

That would require a level of forthrightness.

a brave and admirable move by hyattsville.  now for the rest of the cities across maryland and the rest of the country to follow suit to let the dump know what we think about his policies.  states will not be bullied into positions of racism and xenophobia
