No Mancini in the lineup.

Like to see Manny do his best Brooks impression during this series.

Or has it gotten to the point that Brooks was doing his best Manny impression?

Arroyo has no velocity whatsoever. So runs may be hard to come by for the Orioles lol.

The concern being all these guys are gonna try to hit the ball 600 feet and may end up popping up, whiffing, grounding out etc

No DH. Lots of empty seats; seems like the norm this early in the season.

Gausman needs to concentrate on his pitching and remember Earl Weaver's advice:

"Team speed, for crissakes, you get [expletive] [expletive] fleas on the [expletive] bases, getting picked off trying to steal, getting thrown out, taking runs away from you. You get them big [expletive] who can hit the [expletive] ball out the ballpark and you can't make any [expletive] mistakes."

Trumbo being his usual infuriatingly tentative self in right.

That up and out 97 fb was the best pitch he's thrown so far.

Yeah the defense has sucked this inning.

And Davis and Trumbo got schooled by slop.

No surprise there. They might go combined hitless tonight off Arroyos stuff. Hope I'm wrong

I love me some World Series. But I loathe interleague games.

Just as the Orioles starting staff starts to receive some National praise, Gausman comes out and does this. So predictable.

Jimenez couldn't have been any worse that Gausman. OK, your defense is letting you down and some speeders are irritants on the bases. But even against Votto, you don't get down 0-2 and then walk him, and then give up the four-pack on some kind of glorified eephus pitch on 0-2. He's got nothing tonight

Sometimes I wonder if he has much in general. Can't figure out what his problem is. Maybe it's that he came up through the Orioles system which struggles mightily developing talent when it comes to pitchers

I thought those ridiculous pitch calls were gone with Wieters.
