RIP Original Raven Michael Jackson

9 posts in this topic

Former Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Michael D. Jackson reportedly was killed in a motorcycle crash Friday morning, according to TMZ Sports. The report cites a confirmation from Louisiana State Police that Jackson, who turned 48 in April, was killed in the accident in Tangipahoa, La.

The report says Jackson was driving his 2013 Kawasaki motorcycle at a “high rate of speed” around 1 a.m. when a 20-year-old woman backed out of a parking spot and into the path of Jackson. He reportedly crashed into the woman’s driver-side door and killed her as well. The investigation into the crash continues.

Sad news. Those first seasons here were exciting on offense.

Marchibroda was an offensive guru - defense - not so much.

But definitely sad news when someone goes before his time.

RIP Michael

I believe he still held the single season receiving yards record.

RIP, MJ. Many great memories from an otherwise forgettable first few years. You were way too young. And prayers for the young lady who also died.

MJ had a sweet autograph.

But a defense who would get torched even by the worst QBs.

I think Donnie Brady had to be rushed to the burn unit every home game. BUT, that year showed what a great O-line can do for average offensive talent. Loved MJ. I remember Berman every time he said  Micheal hee hee Jackson. RIP Mike.

Sorry to hear that.  I went to a few training camp days back then and he was incredibly nice to the kids-- would not leave until he signed an auto for everybody that wanted one.   He used to tell them all, relax, don't push, don't shove I will get to everybody I promise.
