Hi, I would like to tell you about Jesus Christ, the only way to God

Hi guys.

I don't know where to post this, but the Lord has been laying it on my heart for the past few days to tell people about Jesus. This burden is so strong that I have felt sick and very desperate to reach out to others and tell them about Jesus. I asked my Pastor if there were any ministries I could do through my church to serve God, but all he said to me was that if there was anything, he'd let me know. God has been driving me to serve Him so bad that I don't think I can wait much longer for an answer from my Pastor, I am desperate here and I don't think he understands just how urgent it is to witness to the lost. People are dying and going to Hell. That is no laughing matter.

So I am going to write a post and witness to the lost on here...

Dear person much loved by the Lord,

Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners like you and me. Have you ever thought about what happens after you die? I have. It has brought me much anxiety thinking about it, because I know that this life does not last forever and one day, we all will die.

A lot of people today do not think about where they will spend eternity, and this thinking is a big mistake.

But what happens after death? The Bible is the only book that can tell us what happens to us after we die. God Himself wrote this great book; it is probably the most important book that was ever written.

Do you mind if I quote some Scriptures? Some people get offended when I quote the Bible, but I never do. Do you know why? Because I am a Christian and I believe that Jesus is my Saviour. The Bible says so. And with that being said, I will give you some Bible verses to help you and educate you.

So what happens after we die? The Bible teaches that man is a tripart being composed of spirit, soul, and a fleshly body. At death, our souls separate from our body and goes back to God to be judged by Him. God will judge everything we do in the body, whether good or bad.

But here is the bad news. You see, nobody is truly a good person. You see, only God is truly good.

Have you ever told a lie? Have you ever stolen anything? Have you ever hated anyone? If you have, then you have sinned. Killing others is also a sin, and yet you hear every day on the news that someone has murdered somebody else. Why? Because mankind are sinners and on their way to a burning Hell.

Rom 3:23 :
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Now that you know that no one is good in God's eyes, how do we then become good? How do we become vindicated before God? The Bible teaches that we need to have Jesus' righteousness but the only way to do that is to come to Him by faith:

Rom 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Rom 10:10
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

So you see that you need to believe in your heart that God raised up Jesus from the dead, and you also need to confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord.

If you die without Christ, you will spend eternity in Hell. In our modern world today, people think that Hell is a place of never-ending parties and good times. They think that all of their friends will be there. But that is far from the truth. You would think that these people have never read the Bible, or that they have never taken it seriously.

The Bible teaches that Hell is a place of never-ending fire and torment, and my dear friend, that is not very much fun (this truth has scared a lot of people). It is a place of tears and no hope. It is darkness and loneliness. You won't be able to see anyone at all. It is eternal separation from God Himself. Since God is the Source of Joy and Happiness, that means that everything apart from Him is tears, sorrow, and no happiness. And that does not sound like very much fun at all, doesn't it?

So my dear friend, for your own eternal safety, I pray that you will accept Jesus Christ into your heart today, and make Him Lord over your life.

If you have done this, you need to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in God's Word. And you also need to find out what God wants you to do with your life, so that you may serve Him.

Blessings,
Jacqueline

I already spent 8 years of my life early on in Nun City. At my school, we went to a Quickie Mass every morning before school And were expected to be at 9AM Mass on Sunday with the Family too. There was 1st Holy Communion and later Confirmation thrown in for good measure. There were also Novenas and Stations of the Cross and I forget how many other Special Events they threw in with all the rest too. So the way I look at it that was going to Church 6 days a week for the whole school year for 8 years. AND back then it was still in Latin which I had to learn some and to top it off I went a few times with my Mom's folks to their Church where they still did the Mass in Polish! Wow! I think I'm pretty much paid up on Church till I drop. I don't see that there's anything else anyone is going to tell me about JC and the gang that I don't already know. They shoved all that down my throat for enough years and I guess I've turned out to be a pretty good person in general. At least I've never been in Trouble been Arrested or put in Jail for anything. Since those days I've only stopped in Church for a couple Weddings and now it's a Funeral here and there. More of those Now. I feel my Dues have been well Paid in Advance. There have been one or two gals who wanted me to go to their "Church" or "Bible Study" but I don't look at those as Real "Churches" from what I went through. I mean the RC Church has Real Priests, Monsignors, Bishops, Cardinals and a Pope. These other "Churches" just have some Guy who says he knows it all so I just say No Thanks. Been There, Done That. Being Older now and fairly well read I know a good amount about the Big Bang, the Expansion and Planck Time, the size and age of the Universe and a good deal about Particle Physics, Quarks and such, Supernovae and Black Holes, Neutron Stars and other Exotic things out there so I do have my doubts about ALL "Religions" now. I just can't buy it anymore. But God Bless You anyway and Thanks!

Some added Random Thoughts:

I don't go for Horror or Zombie movies. Been to enough Funerals and haven't seen anyone get back up Yet!

If you don't Remember anything from before you were Born, what makes you think you'll Know anything after you Die?

This is It, you get One Shot at Life so don't Blow it!

That'll do, I've gone on enough here.

Don't sweat it Jacqueline,  I'm sure that your Lord will go easy on you now that you've got all that off of your chest.

Sorry, some things just get me going, being raised in the RC religion, I get the thing about nailing the sandals on someone's feet. I look at it as giving me a good basic understanding between right and wrong but after that when I became more Edjumicated a lot of what All these "Religions" shove down your throat is a load of Hooey. Not a lot of people really have an inkling of the Size and Age of the Universe that we are still learning more about all the time. The Age of it, the Immenseness of it all and how We aren't any more than the proverbial Speck on a Gnat's butt in the entire scheme is pretty mind boggling. To even Think that there is some One or Thing that would have even the slightest interest in what We think, say or do in this tiny spot in this minor Galaxy in this little backwater of the Universe is beyond any Conceit, or Self Centeredness I can think of. That's what is at the basis of it. We Humans have this Conceit that there is some Being that will reward us for such and such and conversely would somehow Condemn us for not doing so. It comes out of our own sense of Self Worth. Get Over It. Life has undoubtedly come and gone in different forms and will continue to do so somewhere and sometime in different places in the Universe. The likeliness of us ever finding signs of other intelligent life is small. Why? You forget, Distance=Time. We could detect a signal from someone tomorrow that would be Millions of years old and they would likely be Gone now being so far away and someone may pick up Our signals in another Million years or so by which time We would likely be Gone as well. How may other civilizations have died when a big rock slammed into their planet as what happened to the dinosaurs here some 65 million years ago. How about a whole planetary system of some "people" that may have been destroyed by a Supernova just a few light years away from them. Did they do some Wrong against their God or Gods? To me it's probably a whole Universe just teeming with Life somewhere, sometime out there. At the same time there's plenty of stuff out there that could Extinguish that same Life just as quickly. To even Think that individually We are so Important somehow is ridiculous.

Religion must offer some kind of solace to those unwilling to face the harsh realities of the universe.  Enjoy your life and do your best to leave the world a better place because it is a one way ride.

I know I got pretty extensive about it. To me Religion is just putting the Responsibility of what you do in someone else's hands. Most of us don't even get to make 100 measly revolutions around this little Yellow Star. That's not much. I'm gonna be 65 soon, when I was Young, I couldn't Imagine this. Those were my Grandparents! One day you turn around and go Holy Crap! What happened? I'm not gonna be around a whole lot longer! I didn't do all that well but on the other hand there's plenty of folks Not at as well off as I am. At least I never got into any trouble. Haven't done anything really Great but nothing Bad either. Think I've gotten to do a lot of stuff most people don't get to do. Some stuff I'd still like to do but it's not gonna happen. Most of us just get along about the same way. There's been lots of Good times but seems getting Older you do get Tired of dealing with all the Crap that still comes along. That's the way it goes. One day you'll get the Eternal Peace that you crave. Oblivion, Nothingness, call it what you will. If you think one day you'll be in God's Amusement Park or at the bottom of His Outhouse, well, you just keep thinking that. That's Your call. You get One shot at this, just don't Blow it. That's all you can do.
