Otto Porter? $100M?

The Sacramento Kings reportedly offered Washington Wizards restricted free-agent Otto Porter a max offer sheet.

Chris Haynes and Marc J. Spears of ESPN reported the news Sunday. They added that the offer is in the "range of four years and approximately $100 million," noting Porter "has not made a decision yet as he has more meetings to take."

If Porter signs the deal, the Wizards would have two days to match the offer sheet if they want to keep him on the roster. Candace Buckner of the Washington Post has continued to hear the Wizards will match the offer, making him the highest-paid player on the team.

Yea, NBA money is crazy......

Crazy is an understatement.  Dude is averaging less than 10 points a game for his career and if the Wizards match the offer sheet, he would be the team's highest paid player. Granted Wall apparently has a 4/$72 extension on the table that he's mulling  over, but wow.

Just like Redskins QB Kirk Cousins making $24 million, which puts him above Aaron Rodgers, Je Flacco, Eli Manning, Big Ben, Russell Wilson, Cam Newton, Tom Brady, etc.

I get that, even though Flacco is a bad example. Cousins stats the last two years are better than his. But Porter averages less than 10 points a game for his career, that's worth 25M per?

Keep in mind that there are only, what, 12 men on an NBA roster ......

All other sports have at least twice that many to pay.....

Probably 3 or 4 at the end of the bench making the minimum ......
