Yeah. 4-0 Cubs with Out of Gasman pitching, still top of the first. What an embarrassment.

Jones. What a classic Jones "quality" at bat.

But hey. Look on the bright side. He only threw 45 pitches in two innings. He's WAY ahead of the 100 pitches/4 innings mark!!

;)

And the O's offense answers the 6 run deficit with an 0 for 6 against a guy who's last start lasted 2.1 IP after he allowed 7 runs.

Re-building sounds good but can the O's make good 3-1 trades?

8-0 in the third inning.

Hey, here's a thought. To make the homers REALLY fly out of the park, let Gausman pitch the Home Run Derby next year.

Oh no. Didn't you get the memo? It's the FANS who criticize the O's who are at fault. The O's are a SOLID TEAM, man. Just ask NCBIRDFAN if you don't believe me.

Not with Big Dan Duquette in charge. He clearly has no idea how to construct a team.

Atleast we won't hear the "it's still early" argument anymore.

Oh, they'll come up with something else. They always do.

And HEY...THERE'S the BEEF! A classic 1 run shot to put the O's RIGHT BACK IN THE GAME!!!

Why are the Orioles continuing with JJ Hardy? It's time to let go.

He was just calculated as being the least valuable SS in MLB.

http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/orioles/blog/bs-sp-orioles-position-value-rankings-20170707-story.html

Hardy is the game’s least valuable shortstop, according to the analysis, with a -0.7 fWAR. His AAV ($6,933,333) combined with his performance value (-$5,600,000) leave his net value at -$12,533,333.

In the final season of his three-year, $40 million contract, he’s on the disabled list with a fractured right wrist and a cracked rib. He isn’t expected to resume baseball activities until after the All-Star break.

But regardless of Hardy’s success in his return, the Orioles could be looking for a new starting shortstop next season because the veteran’s power numbers have fallen off — he hasn’t hit double-digit home runs since 2013 — and he had a career-low .211 batting average before suffering his injuries in mid-June.

Ubaldo? (Oh, he's a former starter. N/M.)

I love it when Buck leaves a guy in who is obviously not good that night, and pretty much forfeits the game early...

Almost as much as I loved it when he went with Ubaldo on the mound in a playoff game with the season-ending run dancing 75 feet from home.  Really, if the situation was a little different, and you had the winning run on 3rd with Caleb Joseph or Ryan Flaherty due up... and Tony Gwynn sitting available on the bench... does anyone on Earth NOT make that switch?

Lol I was gonna say is Gausman the worst starter in MLB besides Ubaldo and Miley, but then I realized he may in fact be worse
