GC 14-10 against Gilman at the half. A 30 yard punt and two personal foul penalties gave GC their points. Gilman again couldn't score in the Red zone. Their only TD was from a long Brandon Madison KO return. Gilman playing a little too conservatively IMO.

On paper, this looked like a playoff game between the top ranked teams from AA & SMAC.

On the field, only North Point looks like a playoff team having thoroughly trashed Old Mill in the first half.

NP is led by dual threat QB Jermichael Jones (2k passing, 1k rushing last season) - and he only needed 10 snaps to put the Eagles on the board 3 times.

The first 3 TDs were all from RB Garnes, scoring on a 22-yd reception, a 68-yd run and a 50-yd hook-and-lateral.

OM is very small by their standards, repeatedly lost yardage on consecutive illegal procedures and, just before half, gave NP the ball at the 13 on a bad punt snap.

QB Jones then immediately threw TD #3.

Could be much worse if not for a NP punt return for a TD called back and two beautifully thrown NP TD passes dropped in the endzone.

North Point leads 9-5 in first downs and 226-52 in total yards.

28-0 North Point at half

On the opening drive of the 2nd half, the electric Jermichael Jones darts and dashes 40-yards to start the Running Clock.

35-0 North Point 10:00ish 3rd

Is Curley a 2nd Half team? Where's Frank Reich when you need him?

Any Gilman vs good counsel score?

I left with minute left and GC was winning 23-10. Ends of third, Gilman has ball on the 12 with first down. They throw the ball, without Booker in and incomplete. They then give it to Madison, who runs it 8 yards to the 4. They then run a dive up the middle for no gain. Go for FG, is black and returned to the 30. GC just pounds the ball and scores. Gilman's offensive playcslling is atrocious and really have zero QB play.

Brady is building something down in Southern MD. I would have thought Ryken - Pallotti game would have been much closer.
