Surrattsville and Gwynn Park are not playing.  This is why I wanted River Hill to book Gwynn Park when Centennial folded.

Early game...PH 49.  Patapsco 0. Patapsco had about 20 dressed due to suspensions from last weeks brawl @ Dundalk. Big showdown next week vs MM.

McDonogh three and out on first possession. DeMatha takes the ball and does what the hell they want on their possession, Hellams burns Ellis for a TD 7-0 DM. So far, looks like a mismatch. McD looks soft as hell up the middle on defense.

DeMatha gets 50 yards in penalties on McDonogh's next drive, including one for a horse collar on a sack on 4th and 11. They score on a two yard run, 7-7.

Calvert Hall's game manager is slinging it around.  Two deep passes to #1, Cooper, who dropped one (probably should have caught it) behind the defense, but later caught a long one,  I am guessing around 40 yds. Hall leads 14-0, with 6 minutes to go in the first half.

RBS ain't Wise, King George.  Let's see how he does vs tougher competition.  Gloat if he does it against Mt. St. Joe, Spalding & McDonogh. Don't see it happening to tell you the truth.

And it won't happen against Gilman. I'm watching this game, hard to watch!

When a top Carroll County team tangles with a top Frederick County team, things usually do not end well for the Carroll County team.

And while Westminster will likely end up on the wrong end of a lopsided score, it sure as hell was an entertaining first half with 30(!) first downs and over 500 yards of offense.

Linganore has two uber-quick backs in Snowden and Butler. They're usually in the game together - with the 5'7 Snowden as the FB - and they shared the workload almost evenly. Butler picked up 81 yards on 11 carries and Snowden was good for 97 yards on 13 carries and 2 TDs.

QB Leyh was masterful, completing 11-15 for 141 and 3 TDs - two to WR Felton and one to FB Ambush as the half ended.

Westminster, per usual, is slinging on most every down. QB Etchison has not been overly accurate (9-24 with 2 INT), but he's got a decent arm and goes deep frequently - good for 189 and 2 TDs.

Linganore leads 20-10 in first downs and 331-199 in total offense.

Bombs away.

Westminster QB Etchinson throws for 25 and then 26 for a TD on the Owls' opening possession of the second half.

Linganore right back with a 50-yd catch and run to the 16.

But Butler repeatedly got stuffed (-2 yards on 5 2nd half carries) and Linganore missed a 40-yd FG.

A quick WM three-and out.

A nice return by WR Felton + a 21-yd Butler run = 1-yd Butler TD.

Hard to watch RBS for sure. Those dawgs on that CHC defense gonna eat against your boys.

No they're not. You see what GC did to Spalding? Had Gilman played the transfer QB that game, they beat GC. CHC is not bigger, faster nor better than GC. Will be nothing Gilman hasn't seen before! They're going to stomp CHC!

Exactly as they practiced it.

Westminster QB scrambles but fumbles - and WR Montgomery scoops it up and goes 25ish for a TD.

SFA winning 21-0 over Bosco in the 4th, game was delayed because the lights went out in the second.

I think it's clear that SFA is the best team in the area. Bosco isn't the Bosco of old, but they went to Byrnes, SC and almost beat them. Which is one of the toughest places in the nation to play.

GA,

Game over GC beat Gilman 23-10. The transfer is good but they still don't win. Game is in the books. Give us a score against another IAC Power tomorrow. No if's this, or if that's/ I think they win, what say you? 0-2 vs WCAC and 0-1 vs IAC. Not representing Baltimore well. Step it up.
