That doesn't sound right. You sure you're not referring to cap savings? Flacco carries cap numbers of $47 and $28 million the next two years.

I stand corrected. I was looking at the wrong column. The 47 and 28 are the dead money numbers. Which means we're stuck with him.

You're right. I was looking one column over as well.

Still, the bonus pro-rations accelerating against the cap preclude any chance of Flacco going anywhere until 2020 at the earliest.

They are not going to beat Detroit, Cincy or Indy if Luck is back!!!   5 and 11 would be optimistic in my opinion....

I thought principle of "next man up" meant that when a starter was injured the next man up was someone who do almost as good a job.

Guess I was wrong.

Well, to be fair, the next man up after Marshall Yanda won't be "almost as good". But this team has had depth problems for a few years.

I'm willing to bet a lot of people's pools got blown up this week. Pittsburgh-Kansas City, Atlanta-Miami, and Denver-NY Football Giants likely went the opposite of how most expected. Myself, I thought this would be a double-digit Ravens' win against Chicago, but I wasn't confident enough to put my money where my mouth was.
