Scherzer just has nasty stuff. He threw 3 pitches, top, right, bottom...all painting the strike zone perfectly. Un freakin believable.

That may be your Orioles lens talking. The O's are always able to find a way to lose to NY, in the playoffs. The Indians are focused on making back to back WS appearances. I'd be surprised if they're fearing the yankee mystique.

interesting

Never thought I'd ever say this ... Shoulda left Albers in!

But Dusty... you brought Scherzer in and didn't have a plan b in the works to stop the bleeding if things went wrong.

I was holding my breath the whole time. Weiters blows. Next up...Pedro Strop. (I can't even say that without laughing a bit.)

Duensing pitched 13.1 innings for the O's in 2016 and he was in in extra innings of the WC game.

So bizarre.

With Strop, I could never tell if his hat was crooked, or his head was crooked.

;)

But he struck out the guy he faced. Good on him.

Strop was good, I was miffed when they traded him. He was clearly just overworked and fatigued that season. Glad he has a ring.

Agree. He choked a couple times with O's in big spots but he shouldn't have been traded. Young, live arm. Another example of Duquette and Buck's ineptitude
