Snowflake Trump can't stand heat

87 posts in this topic

Aw, poor baby!

The bottom line is he wants back on prime time. And his idiot followers won't see anything deeply unAmerican about this. Going after a free press? No biggie.

Instituted in 49. Reagan killed. Talk by Dems of reviving, never did.

Issue today is straight up lying and things like Russians and other malignant forces deliberately spreading discontent.

Trump's issue is not that the press lies about him, but that it tells the truth.

The Democrats should get on this immediately and work with the President to get it done. It wouldn't impact cable news, since they have enough from "both sides" that the FCC really can't do anything. The broadcast news shows probably wouldn't be impacted at all, even if you consider everything they report to be 100% liberal crazy talk, because most of them have conservative time on the local coverage. Even if they have to adjust, it's minor.

Talk radio, on the other hand, will take it in the pants.

Let's do this.

There was also this:

Of course, this doesn't make sense, since he's getting all the time already. Except when those annoying hurricanes and massacres steal his coverage.

They'll fiddle with what the sides consist of to get things their way. For example Trump is obviously demanding that one of the sides be total fawning obedience and praise, rather than just merely someone who shares his idiot ideology (though that last bit might get me another warning point).

Just look at how they did with science discussions. Now for every reasonable scientist with cautious and nuanced positions on scientific issues (global warming, etc.) they have to be paired up with some nut bar who thinks their magical sky daddy will save them from any consequences.

Yup, they sure did.  More hypocracy from the party of no new ideas.  This technology thing sure has ruined the democrats racket on rewriting history.

Equal time? The media react to every tweet he posts and every word he says. If anything, he needs to yield his time to others.

Liberals are mad about Trump tweets because they can't control the narrative and finally a President is attacking the biased media instead of ignoring it.

Is hypocracy the govt form practiced by hippos?

It was stupid then and it's stupid now. Know that will be tough for you to decipher. Oh hell, don't even try. Just chant "MAGA"!

But it's not fawning attention. He's so comical. Always talking about the "failing NY Times" e.g., but pours over them. So needy. Yuck.

So are Trump's peeps for this? Seriously, let's do it. The backfire will be amazing. I doubt there are enough Republicans in the House and Senate to go along with it, though.

AMEN!

The only 'fake news' for the most part......is what comes out of his mouth. I don't even listen anymore. If he says 'A' .... the truth will eventually bear out that it was 'Z'.

I wonder if Pence and the cabinet has found their nuts yet and will declare Trump incapable of holding the job.

Oh the irony in Trump whining about a policy that Republicans are responsible for killing

Thought Trump's skin would toughen up after some time in office. Apparently not.

And now for the rest of the story.

And from one of the usual suspects' favorite sources too.

This article is hilarious.  Think it might be meant to be satirical?  One of the big lies is that the Pope wasn't smiling standing next to Trump.  The photo used to illustrate this 'lie' shows the Pope NOT smiling.  The big gotcha?

"People in the company of someone they like don’t keep a smile constantly plastered on their faces while devoutly maintaining a scowl when forced to hang out with someone who is not their favorite. And our facial expressions often have nothing to do with the people in our immediate vicinity (think: trapped gas, or checking your phone at the dinner table). A photograph of Francis frowning next to Obama was not hard to come by. Nor was one of him grinning next to Trump."

If you watched the videos of the public parts of the visit, the Pope looks very somber nearly the whole time. So the photo was representative.

Wow.  Talk about a big lie!

The rest of the article is equally lame.
