In Alabama, Republican Voters Stand by Roy Moore

Republican voters in Alabama said they love Moore's penchant for political incorrectness — they like the same thing about President Donald Trump — and blame the media for Moore's troubles

Repubs sure love supporting child molesters.

They also love blaming others for the troubles they caused themselves.

the Republican candidate said, "Everybody on this room, every person watching on these cameras, should ask theirselves, 'Isn't it strange that after 40 years of constant investigation people have waited until four weeks prior to the general election to bring their complaints?

i bet he never said that when Kevin Spacey and Bill Cosby were accused. Especially Bill Cosby.

Most Republicans in Alabama would vote for someone who sexually assaulted a baby, then ate the baby, rather than vote for a Democrat. They would come up with some really wild way of rationalizing it, probably from a Sean Hannity seed.

It would be nice to know what really happened.  He does have a point in that why did she wait 40 years and just before the election for this to bother her so bad.

Seem to be a lot of 30 and 40 year old molested women coming out now.  Really makes one wonder what the truth really is.

Why wouldn't they stand behind him?

Because the accusations are so disturbing that the man shouldn't be put into office?

Why did the women wait so long to come forward about Weinstein, or the men to come forward about Spacey?

Very good question, and the point I was trying to make.

Maybe because the events were so traumatizing and the risks of going public with them so great that it was easier to keep quiet about it?

You're really wondering why a 14 year old girl didn't have the courage to publicly challenge one of the most powerful men in Alabama?

More about her timing than her courage.

If you read the article she did tell a couple people way back then. What didn't a 14 year old kid from a broken home publicly accuse a powerful man after a traumatic experience?  Think it's pretty obvious.

She didn't seek out the press, the Post found her.

Is it an Alabama thing, or a Republican thing?

its the modern day goper movement. even if the man is a woman abuser, immigrant hater, racist, homophobe or kid toucher, their base will always deflect and defend them.  its horrifying, but its who they are

In the case of Weinstein women didn't want to affect their careers since he controlled a lot of Hollywood.

I can understand why very conservative people aren’t going to entertain the idea of voting for the Democrat or staying home and hoping the Democrat loses. With that in mind, Moore should stay in the race but promise to resign once elected.

You obviously don't know anyone who has ever been raped or sexually assaulted or know how they are treated if they come forward.

well, actually I have met many rape and sexual assault  victims, I used to investigate the crime.

Just curious, how is you've come in to contact with so many rape and sexual assault victims?
