Tucker Carlson defends racist Trump comments

87 posts in this topic

Its a no brainer that people who flee countries are leaving bad situations. What's the point in remarking upon it?

Tucker Carlson claims Trump was "just saying what most people were thinking"

No low is too low for Fox News and Trump cultists

I was thinking Carlson is an idiot. He needs to go back to the bow tie.

That's what America was built on. Quite a few of the whites who came to this country in the early days were leaving bad situations. A lot of them were thieves and murderers. That's why those whites were lynched. Now that they created a country with their lies ...they now want to deny opportunity to others.

Oh Tucker....

I believe they missed a step there...because as evidenced here, they first said it was all made up....fake news!

Apologizing for Donny's behavior has be come a cottage industry here on Sunspot. It's little wonder it's spread to Fox News. Birds of a feather.

That all non white countries--Africa, Latin American, mid east--are [crapholes]?

Gosh, let me think.

And of course you are missing the point.  Not a good thing for the POTUS to grossly insult whole sections of the globe.  Would think that would be self-evident?

And of course now the buffoon is denying--kinda--the remarks.  Idiot.

Technically, no.   Colloquially, to teh deplorables, yes.

It is obviously an expression rejected as appropriate by most members of the civilized world.

...but it is his 'right' to speak that way.

As a voter, I reject MY Preznit talking this way.

I propose we give Trump a taste of his own 'medicine', and FIRE the SOB.

Kindly show me any similiar comments from prominent Dem political leaders.

Unless you're a Trumpanzee.... they are bending over backwards to defend them.  In fact, it's almost as if they hold the same racist beliefs that trump does

First, you do realize that there is middle-ground between advanced first world nation and [craphole] right?

Second, he was not only talking about Haiti, but the whole of Africa as well.

Why are you so desperate to defend these indefensible comments?

Do you know what most people think of when you use the term [Trump allegedly used]?

Words have meanings.

Would people be leaving their country if it weren't true? Trump apparently didn't use the more toned down presidential style when referring to those countries, that's all.

Why remark on those countries at all?

Trump claims he is for merit-based immigration, but his remarks refer to geography, and come down to skin color.

Dude, the countries people are leaving and risking their lives to get to America are [crapholes]. Why else would they be risking their lives to get the hell out?
