Every time I think about how bad an owner Peter Angelos is, I smile as I remember he isn't the worst professional sports team owner in the world, or even the worst one in a fifty mile radius from Baltimore.

I like the part about essentially buying an older version of Cousins.   And throwing in an up & coming CB because <jazzhands>.

Maybe they can move to Indianapolis while they're at it.

Greetings, Semi!

As an O's fan, I certainly share your sports fandom pain. However, I take some solace in the fact that Angelos is an old man. You might have Danny for quite a few years to come.

Take me to the track.

One more thing.  As a sure sign that the apocalypse is upon us, the Caps got past Pittsburgh in the playoffs.

The Caps actually getting by Pittsburgh? Surely another local devastating earthquake is soon to follow. Please remember to secure your beer and deck chairs.

As for the horrid O's, I've been given a free ticket to tonight's game. Just wondering if they will be worth the price of admission.

Ha! Very well played.

But take heed, I plan on redeeming myself at the Preakness. Or not.

So the Caps are in the finals for the Stanley Cup.   A sure sign of the apocalypse.  Far worse than the white death from above.

ps: Vegas has a hockey team?   When did that happen?

So if the Caps lose to them it will be like, "You got beat by the new spring grass!"   They better win this.

They are a really good team ....

The NHL expansion draft was set up to allow them to be successfull....

Teams were very limited on whom they could protect . ...

The cup is by far the hardest trophy in sports to win ....

If you are talking about the World Cup, then yes, it is the hardest trophy in all of sports to win.

Only 7 countries have hoisted that cup.

Lol.....

Big soccer fan but it's not anywhere near as physically demanding as winning 4 7 game series in a physical sport .....

That takes place over a year .....

7 countries in the world have hoisted the World Cup. Not an easy task.

Montreal has hoisted the Lord Stanley cup 24 times. Make it look easy.

What's with the physically demanding stuff, is that supreme over skill in your book?

Either way, todays Premier League footballers are every bit as fit as your guys and they also play as many games over as long.

Lol, have you even seen hockey before?  No other major sport requires the amount of skill hockey does and it's not even remotely close.

Yep, seen it and played it as a kid in school. To claim that it is the most skillful sport is really quite crazy.
