Way to miss the point.

Last night’s strikes wont be any more effective at stopping chemical weapons than last year’s strikes on the Syrian air base.

The OPCW found no evidence of chemical weapons production at the site

Said said the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons had visited the site in Barzeh in recent years and had declared it free of any toxic weapons.

“The OPCW used to stay in the two upper rooms, and use the labs, and we would cooperate with them completely,” he said.

“The OPCW has proven in two reports that this building and the centre as a whole are empty and do not produce any chemical weapons.”

So what's you solution to the problem?

Or don't you see the gassing of Syrian civilians as a problem?

The solution is to accept that Assad has won and let the Syrian civil war come to an end. Trump is right that we should leave Syria.

As long as we support the armed Syrian opposition, which is no longer viable, more innocent people will get killed...

The OPCW's expertise is Chemical Weapons.

The WHO's expertise is healthcare.

The chemical weapons experts said there were no chemical weapons at that site.

Even if there were, Trump's telegraphing the attack gave them a few days to clean up the facilities and move important stuff...

It IS a problem... it should have been handled at the UN... and leader around the world should have condemned it... only THREE did... little cooperation with the US under Trump...

Pretty much, but it did a lot to avoid the wider war many believed would result if the US attacked.

We should not support the use of chemical weapons... but we should not be in Syria... just like we should not have been in Iraq...

Didn't say Syria didn't use chemical weapons last weekend... only said the area hit by U.S. missiles didn't seem to have produced chemical weapons that were dangerous... as evidenced by immediate personnel on the site after the attack...
