Terrible overpriced coffee anyway.  I have been boycotting for years

I had Starbucks yesterday. Delicious coffee IMO. And regular coffee is overpriced...never understood that, the specialty drinks are more expensive but they are expensive most places.

Pretty good. Now Dunkin Donuts, I hate their coffee and how they make it for you. They always add way too much cream and sugar.

I like their new iced coffees. But truthfully, I like any iced mocha-y coffee. :)

Too hot and never cared for it.

I like to add my own cream and sugar.  And not from those little cream cups

The media should stop covering this story.  That’ll end the protests.

I’ve never been in a Starbucks. Dunking Donuts is my jam when I’m away from my Keurig

Starbucks has great pastries and sandwiches too. I like some of their coffees and specialty drinks. But the prices are too high.

I have a Keurig at home and that is all we use for coffee. I stopped using the K-cups a couple years ago though.

WTH would the manager's race have to do with how these young men were treated?? Duh..

You have to be kidding me....you have to be trolling....

You can't figure that out?

Most all the comments that have been posted have been directly or indirectly associated with whites and racism. You can't discern the ramification if it turned out a black manager refused to give the code to a fellow black?

Ohhhhh and thankfully the women that supposedly refused to give the code initially ..THANK GOD was a white man. Seems she is a minority. We only have the videoers word.

I said that a lot of people, of all races, are wary of young black men in urban settings. I wouldn't be surprised if you are too.

I would be shocked if he admitted it. I am not worried....that ain't happening.

Hey .... I remember you.....you are the genius women that but a large cup of hot coffee from McD's between her legs and pouched herself. And then won a law suit because she was not warned about what hot coffee can do.

:D

Matt, yes that was Starbucks the multi-national corporation.

The Starbucks that called the cops on these guys was just one little manager in one little store, and she made a mistake.

It’s not a corporate-wide practice. Starbucks and their thousands of employees should not be taken to task for this dumb manager’s error in judgement.

I don’t know why there are still protests. What do they think they demand?

It is clear they want something for nothing.  Typical.

Most confirmed Starbuckers aren’t going to stop buying their coffees there because of this. If the prices haven’t scared them off, this surely won’t.

For real though. I was in a Safeway a few weeks ago and figured I was already there to get other stuff and they have a Starbucks there, no need to wait to finish my shopping and go to DD. Looked at the prices and was like "Nahh, I'm good"
