We moved to the country, but we’re not really far out of town. My educated, urbane, professional husband, who has always lived in the city, now bypasses our 2 1/2 bathrooms and relieves himself outdoors in a “king of all he surveys” pose.

We no longer have children living at home, and he refrains from doing it when we have company or there’s any possibility of his being seen, but it still drives me crazy!

Could I be jealous because I am female, or should I join him? Is it truly as unsanitary as it seems, and is my letter a “first”? — TEMPTED IN CALIFORNIA

Her letter is not a first.

New Jersey superintendent arrested, pooped at high school track 'on a daily basis'

Quote

Call it the case of the public super pooper.

New Jersey police have charged Kenilworth Public Schools Superintendent Thomas Tramaglini with relieving himself in public early Monday morning after school officials reported finding "daily" deposits of excrement by an athletic field.

Tramaglini, 42, was issued citations on Monday for public urination or defecation, discarding and dumping of litter, and lewdness, according to the state's municipal court case database. Lewdness is a disorderly persons offense.

Holmdel High School staff alerted a school resource officer and athletic coaches "that they were finding human feces" at or near the track and football field "on a daily basis," according to a Facebook post by local police.

"The SRO, along with school staff, monitored the area and was able to identify a subject responsible for the acts," according to the post.

Dear Abby, dear Abby
Well I never thought
That me and my girlfriend would ever get caught
We were sitting in the back seat just shooting the breeze
With her hair up in curlers and her pants to her knees
Signed just married

Peeing is nothing. You haven't lived until you have pooped in the woods.

Hi Bowie

Reminds me of the time we took our friends camping (their first time) to Green Ridge in Western MD. At that time, mid 80's, the campsite was a good 45 min. off Rt 68, barely a road and a few creek crossings to get to.

We knew enough to bring everything, so it was comfortable, but considering the remoteness, and obvious outback camping protocol, our friends dealt with the idea of walking into the woods to do the business, and making sure to bury what you just did. I had a handgun in my truck, but my wife never knew.

That area is not flyover, and it was very dark and quiet.

Thanks for reminding me in an off hand way.
