It's happening again.

Tillman back to normal.

They gotta have the worst outfield in the league.

Hey, Crush is going to lead the comeback with some singles and doubles and bunts down the third base line. Have some faith.

Keep up the pace and we could challenge the infamous Rangers game...

But let's not move Manny because we still could make a run for it.

The Orioles are on pace right now for 43 wins. That doesn't even exceed the total of the 1988 squad, which did manage to eke out 54 wins after an 0-21 start. Yikes!

Right. We might climb into contention by Memorial Day, you never know.

As usual the dolts in the FO and managerial positions are the last to realize the ship is at the bottom of the ocean.

Memorial Day, Schmemorial Day. This team has been dreadful since mid-April. Nothing can save it.

Just take that dog behind the woodshed and get it over with.

Quote

“It’s only May 3rd. “There's 28 more days of May, probably 24 games. Hopefully we can go 20-4 the next 24 games and all of this will be behind us.

That quote is from Adam Jones. Here's what's most disappointing. In mid-April, AJ said "It's only April. Now if we're still playing like this on May 1st, then it's time to worry"

He's definitely learning from Buck, the goal post is ever in motion with Buck. And now AJ has joined the excuse making team.

4-20 is much more likely.

I don't know...6-18 seems reachable.

I have never seen a team play this poorly.

This is an unmitigated disaster.

It's going to take years to fix this.

Nice to see another big number posted in the first inning. Really, have to wonder what McDowell is preaching. Bad pitchers have stayed bad or gotten worse under him. Decent pitchers seem to regress. Gausman was quoted a week or two back when discussing some change in his wind-up that he says has made him more effective saying that McD told him he wouldn't do it... then he did it anyway and it worked.

Something is seriously broken not only in Big Dan's world but in the on field coaching quarters as well. Has to be.

How would you like to be the home plate umpire working an Oriole game?  187 pitches last night.

My concern for years now has been what's left behind after MacPhail's core runs its course. There isn't much on the horizon to suggest Duquette will leave a good foundation to build around. Could be tough viewing here for many years...

It will take years because Big Dan has left old Mother Hubbard and her cubbard dry.

There is no foundation. Danny Boy doesn’t value draft picks, prospects, nothing, and he can’t judge young pitching. That’s why he traded most of it away.

Machado thrown out trying to steal then Davis strikes out swinging on next pitch.  This offense can’t do anything

Ah, the (really) delayed hit-and-run!

Lol. Even a normal hit and run with this team is more like a ‘jog and swing and miss.’   Slowest team ever

It’s shocking how often this team strikes out. 11 already tonight. And everyone on this team strikes out. It’s almost contagious.  DD and Buck either intentionally seek out high strikeout guys (which seems to be the case) or there’s something else going on.

This is actually a serious question- does the organization employ a competent eye doctor?

Davis should not be batting behind Machado. At this point, he should be batting behind Caleb.
