You really should do your research before you post.............

Uh. You really should learn to read. What part of “complimentary self parking” and “only during special event dates” is so hard to understand?

I’ve never paid to park in that garage.

Uhhhh that means ... that you have to be a Platinum, Diamond, and Seven Star Total Rewards Members. So are you? According to the site...you have to be.

So smarty....I don't gamble....does that mean I can park my car there to play golf.....or if I am not part of the inner circle ....I don't have to pay?

sheesh

I go to the Horseshoe often, and have never once paid to park. And no, I'm not a Platinum, Diamond, Seven Star, or any other kind of member.

So...golfing everyday....and your showing up with your change purse is a Non-member special event day.

We're done....I don't deal with clueless people when clearly recognized.

What part of rates are you having difficulty with?

smh

There may be a dufus around these parts, but it's not Marshan.

Football games must be special event dates.

So no free gambling parking on those days. Then no one will stop by.

Most days aren’t special event days. That’s what makes them special. And on special event days it’s presumed people will already have found parking for their special event. The garage is just another paying option.

I have been kicking the idea around with the wife about taking a 3 dayer there...do you like it? I am not referring to the gambling ...as much as the rooms the grounds the food...is a place just to soak up the day.

And ....most importantly to me.....do they still allow fishing there.

Thanks in advance.

I've never stayed overnight. The resort itself is pretty expensive too, as is the golf. If I ever spent the night up there I'd just hump it to Cumberland for a $65 Ramada room. Like I said, I'm a minnow. B)

I'm just Gold or whatever Bottom rank on all my cards. Just booked Harrah's again in AC for 4 nites the last week of August. Waterfront (New) tower same as I had in March for $310 total. Could've gone cheaper but the Harbor & Marina towers are getting pretty Old. The Newly remodeled Bayview tower rooms cost More than the Waterfront tower. Anyway, Harrah's gives you a coupon at check in so you only pay $5 for your 1st nite parking and after that when I was there in March they didn't charge me anymore for the rest of my stay when I was coming & going to the other casinos. Couldn't get a rate less than $95/nite at the Nugget where I expect to play the most, oh well. Anyway their parking is always free and I have no problem going back & forth to there. I'll have to check out the Hard Rock (ex-Taj) when I go there. They're supposed to open June 28th. I'll park at Resorts then as their parking is free.

My Max buy-in depending on the table minimum ($10 or $15) is $100-$200, if I lose 1/2 my stake I usually knock it off for a while and come back later  You haven't seen guys who have Thousands on the table! Usually $1000 chips are Orange, they call them Pumpkins!

I was at the TopGolf in Vegas about 6 weeks ago.   Sure it's fun but I don't see people that can afford to pay $50 an hour for a bay, not those living in Baltimore anyway.  Are people going to drive into the crime-ridden city to do it? ....  I doubt they will more than once.

Oh, I forgot, I think I've told this story before some years ago here...

My Dad was something of a Jock in his younger years, he was at one time an "All-Navy" Pitcher among his other sports. If you asked him what he did in the Navy he said he played Baseball. Anyway once when I was around 12 or so he came home from playing a round and he was So pissed off that he picked up and Slammed his Golf bag, clubs and all in the Garbage Can out back. BOOM! I Swear to God! It frustrated him that much. My only experience with Golf is Putt Putt or Mini-Golf, that's enough for me. Once National Lampoon had an issue knocking most all Sports and I recall what they wrote about Golf. "If you want to take long walks, take a walk, if you want to hit a ball with a stick go ahead. But there is no reason to combine the two and call it a Sport."

Maybe they got a sweetheart deal with the city for the space. The kind where the city pays them.

Baltimore metro area is one of the wealthiest metro areas in country. The area where top golf is going to go is hardly crime ridden. This isn’t going in at Sandtown-Winchester.

Some people should just rename themselves "Eyeore" and move to a nice tree trunk in the woods far, far away. :D So many negative comments about a business in a part of Maryland that, from their own mouths, they will never enter.  So don't worry about it!! It doesn't impact you!!

I've decided to just laugh at the people who constantly make racially tinged comments all over this forum and want to be taken seriously and respected. You're not either.  :)

You're right.  It's going to be right next to the Horseshoe Casino, the one whose revenue flow is going down as the other casinos' revenues are going up.

With the states population hovering at around 60% white (59.3% to be exact) and the cities at 30.3.

I would like you explain how any comment on a local forum is not susceptible to the tinging? On a pure mathematical basis and percentages...it can't be avoided.

Yes one (such as myself) should try to be more discrete in terminology....but ...a percentage duck is a percentage duck.

And you can't dispute that.
