I wish I could believe that wheels are turning behind the scenes and that plans are being drawn up for the hard and smart work that needs to be done to rebuild the organization starting immediately.

I really wish I could.

Nah, with Big Dan at the helm since 2012, there hasn’t been much foresight or vision.

Didn’t take long for Twitter to react to this game

Looks like the warehouse from "Reservoir Dogs." This whole season is like the cluster*** Mexican shootout at the end.

Once again, Big Dan’s offense with a futile, listless effort against a starting pitcher sporting an ERA near 6.00.

And surprisingly, Big Dan still has a job!

Hey, they managed to run Duffy out in the bottom of the 6th... that's gotta be good for something right???

Buck really has this team ready tp play.  He has lost the ship and then some.

Why pitch Bleier here? I wanna see Davis.

I'd think the conventional "get him some work" reason is a bit nonsensical. The way this season is going, getting Bleier work in a game like this means he gets injured, and we lose whatever pathetic value he could bring back in a trade.

Looks like guys who the O's kicked the tires on are playing well for KC.  Jon Jay and Ryan Goins.  We got Rasmus and Valencia instead.

Stat padding time. Only 12 more solo home runs to get these fightin' Birds back in the game!

They could mount a miracle comeback and win this game and it wouldn't mean a g/d thing regarding how pathetic this team and franchise is.

Although it would be a wee bit of a payback for 2014.

Fire Showlater and Duquette immediately. No point in waiting any longer. At least show the fans that there are actually a few brain cells moving around in the warehouse and changes are coming
