There was a recent article, I think it was written by Schmuck. In it, he said that Buck has job security, and no reason to worry about being let go. But, if there was one guy who could have Buck removed, it's Brady.

As fans of the game, we all recognize that a team performs best, when everyone has clearly defined roles. This is especially true for the BP. I have to believe the same tenet holds true for the structure of the FO. As far as I know, the hierarchy of a baseball team has been the same, as far back as anyone alive can remember.

Owner/President
GM
Manager

The O's structure seems to be

Owner
Future owners (Lou and John)
Roving Strength and Conditioning Coach
Manager
GM

Agree.  I'm no fan of Brady with some of the stunts he has pulled and his "Total Autonomy, No Accountability" job role.  But hey he is just getting away with what the Baby Bros are allowing.  They like Brady as the only ex-jock friend they have and besides they think his sideburns are cool (see Louie, LOL!)   Heck I'd do the same thing.  What a cushy job.

With that being said I can only hope Brady wants to consolidate his power and recommends Buck's ouster at the end of the year.  So yeah, I'm taking Brady over Buck.  Let Brady be the top power guy and have the new manager and GM report up the line.

What an absolute disaster this franchise is.  Brady who got two coaches fired who were trying to "coach" Mike Wright https://thebaltimorewire.com/2018/02/24/baltimore-orioles-front-office-anderson-duquette/3/, signed O'Day and Trumbo.  You have Buck who has the owners ear and was responsible for C. Davis's signing when Duquette was adamantly opposed to his signing.  DD tried to trade Britton last summer to the Astros but Angelos vetoed the deal. Yes DD should have signed Markakis, or Andrew Miller,or Cruz. But was that DD's call or Angelos's call? We do not participate in the International Draft which has left the O's minor league system totally devoid of talent.  Credit to Gertrude for finding the Angelos's email addresses. Our only hope is for the Angelos to sell the team. According to Richard Justice formerly of the Sun he knows of someone who inquired about buying the team but was told the team is not for sale.
