Major problems in Auto Industry

My work truck is a 99 Ford E150 w/146,000 miles. I bought it at 102,000; it's only needed oil and brakes. Gets 18 mpg full of tools.

My 97 Ford F150 with a 4.2 engine threw a rod at 62000 miles because some last in their class engineer didn't design a manifold gasket properly. The 3.8 engine did the same thing I am told. Ford replaced the engines for the government but ignored the public. Thousand and thousands of cars and trucks with those engines had to be replaced. I am not a sucker twice.
