Yeah should be good. Especially since St. Mary's practically owned Spalding. First time since 2006 that they will play at St. Marys too

I think some of the kids that went to Spalding when they were thriving under Mike Glick have gone back to their public high schools because of the coaching changes and the fact that they are struggling in the Catholic League lately. As an Annapolis grad I am glad to see it. I am looking forward to seeing how Delmore Howard and the 6"8' kid mix with the returning players.

st. mary's beat up spalding 54-36. Game was pretty sloppy. Spalding looks like there playing streetball, they don't appear to have any offensive sets. They have some nice players, but couldn't get anything going in the second half. Nick Groce and Trey Quinn had nice games for St. Marys. Groce was silent for times, but when he had the ball in his hands, looked every bit like the D1 baketball player, he is.

The key to Arundel is going to be how much Coach Starr is counting on football players and how long it will take them to get into basketball shape and contribute once the football season ends.

Does anyone know who Annapolis has coming to the Cap City Classic this season?

went to the essex round robin yesterday....north county looked really really small, they may have it very rough in the county this year! On a good note, their PG can shoot the lights out!!!

old mill also looked rather small, but well coached with the pressure they apply. their secondary break is their best offensive weapon!

Yep. All the size for North County is on the coaching staff.

They are returning almost everyone and they looked good in summer leagues. Their JV team was solid as well. So when Coach gets finished moving guys up they should be pretty tough.

No one from JV is going up....leaving them together they could be really good as a group sine all are sophs mainly..varsity is all seniors one junior.....if we take care of the ball, we can win some games....turnovers= fewer shots thus fewer points......basketball 101

They played last season with SP winning 53-39. SP plays Key, Spalding, St Mary's, Severn, and travels to Calvert for their non county games this season.

The St. Mary's and Severn games are at the Severn Christmas Tournament.
